Thursday Thoughts

ThursdayThoughts1-1024x1024

Today I am linking up with Jennifer over at Ramblings of a Suburban Mom and sharing my Thursday Thoughts.

Okay, so I woke up early today like I had planned to, but not in the way I wanted to. During the night Willard snuck into my bed {which he does every now and again} and I woke up at 4:30AM with a swift quick in my face! Literally. More importantly, why the hell don’t kids know how to sleep vertically in bed?!? The world may never have the answer to this question. Anyway, I immediately grabbed my face in excruciating pain and screamed out a very parental “What the f#$%!!!” After about three seconds I realized my nose was bleeding. Great way to start the morning by the way, you should try it.

So I have been soaking my sheets in OxyClean all day in hopes that the blood stains vanish from my beige sheets so that a) I don’t have to buy a new pair to match my comforter and b) Eric doesn’t return home to think I murdered a small human in my bed and failed to cover it up adequately. Seriously though, how does one nose create that much blood?!? I’m okay though and Wilito was able to continue sleeping through the whole thing. If he could access my blog or read for that matter I would probably think he used last nights post as a way to get away with kicking me.

I went to Panera Bread to study and get some homework done today. I was going to go to the library but since I had to go to WalMart this afternoon I figured I would go somewhere a little more fun since I was in the area. First off, it’s freezing in my local Panera.  It was 26 degrees outside and was snowing pretty much all day so I don’t know why they didn’t kick the heat on. I looked stupid in my huge coat trying to type and drink my caramel latte. If that didn’t already make me look ridiculous enough I kept losing WiFi signal from where I was sitting so I changed locations about 4 times. It was like grown-up musical chairs, except I was playing alone. I had to move closer to the router which is nicely identified with a huge sticker on the ceiling tile. However, it was next to a window so I was now colder than I was previously.

Ideally I would like to study from about 9-2 so I can get as much as possible done but around noon the lunch rush starts and let me just say I am amazed by how many people actually go to Panera and eat inside. I’m a drive-thru kind of girl. It was so hard for me not to hear {and continue to listen] other peoples conversations. I guess if everyone in Panera was with someone else and having their own conversation you wouldn’t have to worry about if people could hear you, or maybe they just don’t care who hears? Well, I was alone, and although it looked like I was reading I was trying desperately just to comprehend one sentence over and over again while listening to everyone’s conversations. I heard the craziest things and it was so hard not to laugh and also not look up and see the faces of the people who said these things. Here are a few of the best ones, enjoy:

- “I gave up Twitter for Lent, and it is so hard! I even deleted the app from my phone!” – Seriously?? I can’t even get hooked on Twitter? What am I missing?

- “Gurlllll, if he gave me something I am going to kill him” - Yes, kill him. (No, don’t really, but make him think you are going to for sure)

- “I should of gotten a salad” – Probably, but I don’t know if you were one of those really skinny girls who is always complaining about being fat. If so, you should of gotten broccoli and cheese soup, in a bread bowl.

If you couldn’t tell already, all of those statements are from women, or girls.  Like I said, I didn’t look up. Needless to say, I didn’t get a lot done. Plus that place is so expensive. I don’t think I’ll be going back.

Oh, and WalMart’s Easter selection sucksmegaballs. I wish we had a Target.

P.S. I really wish it would stop snowing, it’s the first day of Spring & I want to be outside!

I can’t get hooked on twitter either. When people start following me on there, I am like you are going to be very sad!

And you don’t have a Target? WTF????? Where are you at? You should move!

    Thanks for linking up!

I love Target! Shame you don’t have one. :( Walmart sucks big time.

& I don’t get the whole Twitter thing either. I have one but can’t get into it.

Lol! I have one, too. Never use it! To be target-less is the worst!
